You recently tried the exercise for parallel lines? Great!

How did it feel? What results can you see already?

Do you think it's necessary to practice this exercise from time to time?

I'd really love to hear from you. But please keep these rules in mind:
  • 1. I really like to see negative feedback as it helps me to improve. But please DO NOT use insulting or offending language - also not against other posters!
  • 2. For the sake of clarity I may move or remove your comments after several months.
  • 3. Please do not post here any personal information like e-mail addresses, passwords etc.
  • 4. For problems of technical nature please send an e-mail to support@drawings

Janet Papagno  - Great Lessons that will Apply to all media.   |:
I have to say, that all of the lessons I have received from you apply to
anything I draw. I like your lessons because the are simple and to the point.
That's me, simple and to the point without a lot of fluff! I eagerly look
forward to new lessons coming down the pike.

Thank you for your hard
work

Mari  - Fantastic tips   |:
Thank you for the useful tips. I have been drawing my whole life and even sell
quite a lot of my work. I believe you learn new things every day and have been
applying some of the tips on the home page. Thanks again for a wonderful site.
Isabel  - Mrs   |:
Thank you again. I think all your tips are invaluable!
Indira  - drawing lessons   |:
thanks Ruediger, I am receiveing your lessons ,you seem to know all problems
bigginers face and you have answers too.The only thing we have to do is
practice.Thanks.
mary  - confused on lessons   |:

Metta Waldschmidt  - Mrs   |:
Your drawing lessons are super. mostly I can draw well from what I see, but the
shading is not always right. Hopefully weŽll come to that. parralell lines are
fun to do, if you later put a few flowers, doggies or snakes in between and bury
them in your journal, for later dates if you look what you did years ago.
The
saying goes, that not even a genius can draw a round, really round ball! There
you are! IŽm a genius now!
IŽll keep trying to find time for all the
lessens
Metta
Mar  - thanks   |:
thanks for the lessons this really helps me on improving my drawings now i know
that it really ipmortant to practice the basics.
Pappy  - Parallel lines   |:
I am not a stranger to drawing so the parallel was rather tedious. I am looking
for something challenging than such lines. I am a pensioner so can not afford
costly CD/DVD's. around the time I signed up for your free advice on line I also
signed up to "Drawing Made Easy". Now they send me an email twice a week
And concentrate upon the anatomy of a human figure. It may start with the eye
then move on to noses and mouth and so on. This is more what I am looking for
and It is all FREE.
Zaharah Braybrooke  - Mrs   |:
I enjoyed drawing the parallel lines. I think that I did it better than I
thought. I feel now that I have hope to draw and of course later I want to
paint. First thing that I know that I need to draw accurately. Thanks for the
encouragement .
sapir  - those parallel lines....?   |:
i really didn't like it
it was quite boring
but i'm drawing since i was 5 or
4
back than i did this kinds of things a lot
and when i was six i could already
draw those stuffed animals very well,it seemed very realistic.
i had no problem
drawing at all.
i still don't as long as the item is standing in front of me.
if
it isn't and it has to be from my own imagination;i can't draw everything-humans
and action
i think that's the reason
but still....
lines?
